A memorial visitation for Jerry Dewayne Cowen, 79, of Livingston, Texas will be held Monday, March 30, 2026, from 5:00-7:00 p.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas.

Jerry was born March 28, 1946, in Livingston, Texas and passed away March 23, 2026, in Livingston. He is preceded in death by his parents, Oliver Dennis Cowen and Auda McCaghren Cowen; daughter Angela Cowen; brother, Dennis Cowen; sister, Theresa Hermes; and brother, Edward Hutchison.

He is survived by his wife, Shirleen Cowen; daughter, Sheri Boddie and husband Dicky; son, Jerry “Bubba” Cowen Jr.; daughter, Kristy Marsh and husband Cody; grandchildren, Kristopher Boddie and Cody, Matthew Boddie and Kristin, Arron Boddie and Paige, Sarah Carnley and Robert, Maddie Richardson and Joshua, Celianna Marsh, and Branigan Marsh; 11 great grandchildren; sister, Cindy Porter and husband Gary; sister-in-law, Cathy Hutchins; and brother-in-law, Bobby Hermes; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Shriners or St. Judes in honor of Jerry.
