Funeral services for Jerry Evans, 72, of Coldspring, Texas will be held Thursday, October 3, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Gregory Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Victory Place Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 2, 2024, from 5:00-8:00 p.m., at the funeral home.

Jerry was born February 1, 1952 in Eudora, Arkansas and passed away September 27, 2024 in Coldspring, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, W.L. Evans and Maudie (Brown) Evans; brothers, Marvin Evans and Benny Evans; and sisters, Evelyn Grey, Shirley Todd, Judy Miller, and Candy Thurmon.

He is survived by his daughter, Jessica Evans of Coldspring, Texas; sons, Jerry W.L. Evans of McAlester, Oklahoma and Joshua Evans of Foreman, Arkansas; the mother of his children, Sharon Evans of Coldspring, Texas; and 4 grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
