Services for Jerry Louise "DiDi" Perinich, 78, of Livingston, Texas, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Forest Hill Cemetery in Livingston, Texas and will be officiated by Bro. Steve Waldrep.

She was born March 8, 1944 in Huntsville, Texas and passed away January 13, 2023 in Houston. She is preceded by her parents, Neri Gleaves Terry and Marion Louise (Hollis) Terry; and daughter, Debby Avitts.

DiDi was the most loving and caring daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother that anyone could ever ask for. She loved animals and adored her family. She did so much to enrich our lives and make every day seem magical. She was just a big kid at heart. She loved to paint and make all kinds of beautiful crafts. Her specialty was nature, painting all aspects of it, especially birds and butterflies. She had a green thumb and loved plants and flowers of all kinds. She was able to stick anything in dirt and make it grow. She filled every space with so much life and beauty. We will miss her dearly and we will carry her love and memories with us for the rest of our lives until we can be reunited in heaven.

She is survived by her loving husband, Anthony Perinich of Livingston, Texas; daughter, Lynndy Perinich, also of Livingston; grandson, Paul Dorough; granddaughters, Kelly Brown, Amanda Haynes, and Terry Avitts; great grandson, Eric Nitschmann; great granddaughters, Emmalee Nitschmann and Emma Brown; great grandsons, Gary Brown, Alex Haynes, and Jasper Whitehead; and brother, Neri Gleaves Terry Jr. of Virginia; as well as numerous other loved ones and friends.
