Obituary
Funeral services for Jerry Duane Musgrove, 55, of Oakhurst, Texas, will be held Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in the Oakhurst Full Gospel Church in Oakhurst, Texas with Pastor Glenn Cooksey officiating. Interment will follow in the Raven Hill Cemetery in Oakhurst, Texas. Visitation will be held Monday, September 8, 2014 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Full Gospel Church in Oakhurst, Texas.
Mr. Musgrove was born December 3, 1958 in Huntsville, Texas to parents, Deavours Harrison Musgrove and Lilla Jo (Bennett) Musgrove, and passed away September 3, 2014 near Coldspring, Texas. He worked during his lifetime as a carpenter in the construction business. He is preceded in death by his biological mother, Alice Goff; mother, Lilla Jo Musgrove; and brother, Robert Carter Jr.
He is survived by his father, Deavours Musgrove of Livingston, Texas; son, Levi Musgrove of Oakhurst, Texas; brother, Joseph Carter of Bryan, Texas; sister, Eunice Dees of Livingston, Texas; sister, Deborah Carter of Livingston, Texas; brother, Robert Hermes of Livingston, Texas; special aunt and uncle, Mickey and Linda Bennett of Oakhurst, Texas; special friend and mother of his son, Destiny Scuffert of Oakhurst, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
