Funeral services for Jesse "Gene" Green, 77, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Michael Richter and David Rose officiating. Military honors will be provided by VFW Post #8568. Interment will follow in the Old Peebles Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 25, 2019 in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Mr. Green was born September 4, 1941 in Livingston, Texas to parents, Clarence Green and Mary Ann (Mills) Green, and passed away January 22, 2019 in Houston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Deanna Green. During his life, he proudly served his country in the United States Army.

He is survived by his daughter, Shelia Jasek and husband, Sidney of Houston, Texas; daughter, Pamela Lovell and husband, Michael of Kingwood, Texas; son, James Green and wife, Alana of Livingston, Texas; girlfriend, Dorothy Johnson of Livingston, Texas; sister, Doris Johnson of Sulphur, Louisiana; sister, Norma Jean Sherrod of Livingston, Texas; grandchildren, Garrett Jasek, Jacob Jasek, Alyssa Lovell, Austin Lovell, Andrew Lovell, Crystal Gilbert, Bradley Gilbert, and Stacy Gilbert; and great-grandchildren, Trent, Jacoby, Alana, Emilano, Emma, Aiden, and Alex; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
