Funeral services for Jessie Glen Hunter, 95, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Friday, September 18, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Don Willis officiating. Military Honors will be provided by the VFW Post #8568. Visitation will be held Friday, September 18, 2014 beginning at 9:00 a.m., until the service begins, in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas.

Mr. Hunter was born September 11, 1920 in Canton, North Carolina to parents, James Herschel Hunter and Callie Evelyn (Coffee) Hunter, and passed away September 14, 2015 in Livingston, Texas. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Rose Annette Hunter; sons, Jessie Glen Hunter Jr. and Bruce Edwin Hunter.

He is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth Ann Goings of Livingston, Texas; sister, Leona Waters and S.J. of Topton, North Carolina; daughter-in-law, Gladys Ann Hunter of Pasadena, Texas; 9 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
