Jessie Platt age 92 of Livingston passed away November 7, 2009 in the Timberwood Nursing Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2:00PM in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Lindell Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in the Peebles Cemetery. Vitiation will be Monday November 9, 2009 from 5-7 also at Cochran Funeral Home.

Jessie was born January 8, 1917 in Polk County to parents Robert Lee Morse and Edna Waldrep Morse. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Forrest E. Platt.

She is survived by her sister Edna Brown of Livingston, sister in laws Jean Platt of Livingston, Mina Morse of Arkansas, and Dorothy Morse of Livingston. A host of nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive her.

Pallbearers will be Glen Lowe, Gordon Lowe, Gene Parker, James Lowe, David Schaffer, and Garry Brown.
