Funeral services for Jessie G. Riggs Stancil, 99 of Livingston, Texas will be held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Danny Moye officiating. Interment will be at 2:00 P.M. at the Lowes Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 28, 2017

Jessie G. Riggs Stancil was born on July 15, 1918 in Rusk, Texas, Cherokee County and passed away on November 25, 2017 in Livingston, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Arley Lee Riggs and Myrtie Lee Riggs; husband, Robert Paul Stancil; sons, Larry Joe Stancil, Melvin Ray Stancil, Kenneth Alan Stancil and Robert Paul Stancil, Jr; granddaughter, Paula Renee Dees.

She is survived by daughter, Marinelle Maner of Livingston, Texas; 3 grandsons, Stacy Sanders of Livingston, Texas, Robert Paul Stancil, III of Madisonville, Texas and Kenneth Allen Stancil, Jr. of Huffman, Texas; 9 granddaughters, Cheryl Wood, of Palestine, Texas, Letha Sanders of Pueblo, Colorado, Teresa Calley and Jolyn Smith, both of Porter, Texas, Kelly Green and Stephanie Gurka, both of New Caney, Texas, Jessie Jones of Abilene, Texas and Rainey Alexander of Cross Plains, Texas; 23 great-grandchildren, 3 of Livingston, Texas, Dustin Sanders, Tiffany Dees and Levi Dees; and many great-greats. She was, for all her life a blessing to many and will be greatly missed.

Jessie will be escorted to her grave by pallbearers: Stacy Sanders, Dustin Sanders, Robert Stancil, III, Kas Stancil, Cody James, Raymond Phallen, Marvin Dees and Levi Dees.
