Jessie Leamon Wilburn age 73 of Houston passed away Tuesday December 1, 2009 in Cypress. Funeral services will be Saturday December 5, 2009 at 2:00PM in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Glen Hearren officiating. Burial will follow in the Bluff Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday December 4, 2009 from 5:00PM until 9:00PM also in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel.

Jessie was born March 5, 1936 in Gadsden, Alabama to parents Joe Greene Wilburn and Florence Mae Morris Wilburn. He worked for many years and a Master Electrician for IBEW #716. Jessie married his wife Patsy Ray Hearren on August 15, 1975 in Richmond, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter Cheryl Voyles and son Tony Ward.

Jessie is survived by his wife Patsy Hearren Wilburn of Houston, daughters Shannon Ramirez and husband Noe of Spring, Charlene Wilburn of Cypress, and Patricia Strickland and husband Joseph of Denton, sons Joe and Mike Wilburn both of Cypress, and his grandchildren Gage, Joshua, Keely, Mikey, Matthew, Sterling, Amanda, Allison, Amy Jo, Joseph, Karena, Christopher, and Daniel.
