Obituary
Jewel Violet Hoffman, age 83, of Onalaska, Texas, passed away on February 16, 2013, in Kingwood, Texas. Jewel was born on February 16, 2013, in Seaboard, Alabama, to parents William and Julia Everett Knapp.
Jewel is preceded in death by both of her parents. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Gerald Pickett, of Valdez, California, Robert and Cissie Jordan, of Onalaska, Texas, Ronnie and Charline Jordan, of Katy, Texas, Jerry and Dianna Jordan, of Montgomery, Texas, David Earl and Wilma Jordan, of Onalaska, Texas, Bobby and Betty Jordan, of Onalaska, Texas, Karen Lynn Jordan, of Houston, Texas, Arlene McKenty, of Kingwood, Texas, and Calvin and Helen Jordan, of Onalaska, Texas; brother, Herman Knapp, of Montgomery Alabama; grandchildren, Judy Pickett, Cheyenne Jones, Kristy Pickett, Debbie Pickett, Bryan Pickett, Robert Jordan II, Mark Jordan, Jessica Self, Robert Self Jr., Sabrina Larson, Chris Moss, Jessie Jordan, Chad Brunson, Braden Mendenhall, Danielle Sexton, Jerry Lee Jordan II, Jessica Joyce Haynes, William Jordan, Samantha Jordan, Wesley Garner, Julie Garner, Jason Jordan, Gabriel Kawinski, Kim Walker, Johnson Jordan, Nicole Jordan, Bart Jordan, David Lebeck, Sharon Lebeck, Bobby Joe Jordan, Julie Marie Jordan, Dawna Jordan, Joey Juarez, Anthony Jordan, Melissa Mendoza, Charles Tanner, Victoria McKenty, Kyle Jordan, Allen Arce, Jason Arce, Timothy Arce, Jessie Arce, Michael Sims, Linda Sims, and Gwen Sims; numerous great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends. She will be escorted to her grave by pallbearers, Robert Jordan, Ronnie Jordan, Jerry Jordan, Anthony Jordan, Bobby Jordan, and Calvin Jordan.
Services for Jewel Violet Hoffman will be held Wednesday, February 20, 2013, at 1:00 PM, at Cochran Funeral Home in Onalaska, Texas. Interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery. Pastor Raymond Harrington will be officiating.
A visitation will be held prior to service time, beginning at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, February 20, 2013, also at Cochran Funeral Home in Onalaska, Texas.
