Jim O. Harrell Jr. passed away on Saturday May 31, 2008 in Goodrich. A memorial service was held in his honor Saturday June 7, 2008 at 12:00 noon in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Alva Woods Taylor officiating.

Jim was born Monday April 4, 1955 in Polk Co., to parents Jim O. Harrell Sr. and Dessie Lee Bennett Harrell. He will be remembered as a loving son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend.

He is preceded in death by his sister Arnettar Harrell. He is survived by his parents Jim, Sr. & Dessie Lee Harrell, sisters Brinda Jones and husband Lee, Marrie Bush, Betty Wyatt and husband Rogers, Joyce Norman and husband Earl, Dessie A. Hughes and husband Bryon, brothers Onis Harrell and wife Tangela, Otis Harrell, and Joe Harrell and wife LaShunda, aunts Jessie Mae and husband John, Sadie and husband Eddie, Josephine, Judy Mae and Pearlie, uncles Faddis Bennett and wife Anne, Otis Harrell Sr. and wife Esssie. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. His special friends also survive him Kerry, JC, Benny and Dino.
