Funeral Services for Jimmie Lee Elpers, Sr., age 59, of Livingston, Texas will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, October 2, 2011 in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas. Interment in Ace Cemetery in Ace, Texas. Visitation is Sunday, October 2, 2011 from 10:00 AM until service time at the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas. Pallbearers are William Brown, Larry Brown, Tommy Vance, Joshua Elpers, Nathaniel Elpers, Robert Hardy, Roger Gray, James Brooks, Christopher Elpers, Jimmie Elpers, Jr., and Demetrius Steptoe.
He was born November 13,1951 in Houston, Texas to Robert William Elpers, Sr. and Eileen Virginia Mourning Elpers and passed away on September 25, 2011 Livingston, Texas. He is preceded in death by parents, Robert William Elpers, Sr. and Eileen Virginia Mourning Elpers, brothers, Robert William Elpers, Jr. and Michael Alva Elpers, Sr., great grandchild, Malakai Holman, nephew, Michael Alva Elpers, Jr., first wife, Darlene Gay Isbell Elpers, special friend, Earl Barker, and nieces, Angel and Amy.
