Jimmie Burl Hill

A Celebration of Life for Jimmie Burl Hill will be held Saturday, September 19, 2026, at 2:00p.m., at the Onalaska First United Methodist Church: 700 FM 356, Onalaska, Texas, 77360.

He was born March 19, 1941, in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma and passed away August 21, 2026, in Houston, Texas.

Mr. Hill is preceded in death by his parents, James Hurston Hill and LaDell (Howard) Hill; 2 older sisters; and one younger brother.

He is survived by his wife, Pamela Hill; daughter and husband, Rene´ Bryan and Ian; daughter and partner, Melissa Bodmann and Alexander Blackshear; son and wife, Ted Hill and Megan; and grandchildren, Gerrit Bryan, Ethan Bryan, Nolan Bodmann, Eli Hill and Miller Hill; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relative and friends.

In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Free Clothing For Children in Onalaska, Texas. This community clothing exchange for the local children was important to Jim.
