Funeral Services for Jimmie Lois James, 90, of Willis, Texas, will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, December 6, 2013 at Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas. Interment will follow at Bold Springs Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held at 5:00 PM, Thursday, December 5, 2013, also at Cochran Funeral Home.

Jimmie Lois James was born on July 21, 1923 in Greenwood Springs, Mississippi, to parents, James Ellis and Margaret Cora (Odom) Minga and passed away on December 2, 2013 in Conroe, Texas. Jimmie is preceded in death by her husband, Oneal James, who she married on July 24, 1944; parents, James and Margaret Minga; four brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sandra Carroll and Jack of Willis, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Charles Oneal James and Mae of Onalaska, and their children, Chrispin and Heather; grandchildren, Melissa and Chris Hale, Teresa and Bobby St. George, Jody and Keyla Carroll, and Daron and Jonie Parker; great-grandchildren, Shawnee Odom, Logan and Hannah Carroll, and Kameron and Karley Parker; siblings, Ruth Whitehead of Smithville, Mississippi, Kermit Minga of Amory , Mississippi, and Ophelia Thomas of Greenwood Springs, Mississippi; along with numerous other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
