Funeral services for Jimmy Carpenter, 76, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Saturday, October 3, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the First Baptist Church in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Johnny Barrett officiating. Interment will follow in the Camp Ruby Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Saturday, October 3, 2020, from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m., before the service begins, in the First Baptist Church.

Jimmy was born May 20, 1944 in Nacogdoches, Texas to parents, Eddie Burton Carpenter and Myrtle Edna (Moore) Carpenter, and passed away September 30, 2020 in Livingston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Buck Carpenter, Gene Carpenter, and Pat Carpenter.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah J. Carpenter of Livingston; daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Eric Hunt of Atascocita; son, Kevin Carpenter; daughter, Alicia Donoghue of Livingston; daughter, Angela Sims of Kingwood; grandchildren, Ashton Hunt and wife Emily, Addison Hunt, Cole Carpenter, C.J. Sims, Jaxon Sims, Coreley Carpenter; and great granddaughter, Mercy Jo Hunt; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
