Jimmy Laprelle Collins, 84, of Livingston, Texas was born August 3, 1940 in Romayor, Texas and passed away June 9, 2025 in Conroe, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emil Sediel Collins and Lavella Penella (Beasley) Collins; wife, Patti Collins; son, James Strange, and brother, Frank Collins.

Jimmy is survived by his daughter, Amanda Black and husband Frankie; sons. James Collins and wife Betsy, David Collins and wife Kendra, and Greg Strange and wife Pattie; daughters, Gretchen Thomas and husband Mark, Avery Strange, and Ashlyn Rampelli and husband Marco; and brothers, Sherman Collins and Gary Collins; as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held in Jimmy's honor at a later date.
