Funeral services for Jimmy O'Dell Jones, 59, of Shepherd, Texas, will be held Sunday, January 13, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Harold Isaacs officiating. Interment will follow in the Farley Chapel Cemetery in Shepherd, Texas. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 13, 2019, from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m., before the service, in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Mr. Jones was born June 26, 1959 in Sherman, Texas, to parents, Kenneth Lee Jones and Ruth (Simerly) Jones, and passed away January 7, 2019 in Shepherd, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Pamela Gayle Jones; brother, Ray; and sisters, Vicki, Linda, Annice, and Connie.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy Lee and Kady Jones of Shepherd, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Aaron Jones of Shepherd, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Manuel and Cheryl Trevino of Shepherd, Texas; daughter, Sandra Spencer of Baytown, Texas; son, Raymond Spencer of Dayton, Texas; son, Richard Spencer of Houston, Texas; brother, Donnie H. Jones of Dayton, Texas; grandchildren, Kali, Kala, Manuel, Jessica, Sarah, Jeffery, Robbie, and Josh; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
