Obit for Jimmy Adron Payne
Jimmy Adron Payne, age 73 of Frankston, TX, passed away on April 2, 2012, Tyler, TX. He was born on November 28, 1938, in Houston, TX to parents, O.A. Payne and Mary Lois Lamberth Payne. Mr. Payne served in the U.S. Marines and the U.S. Army., retiring after thirty-one years of service in the military and for our country.
Mr. Payne is preceded in death by his father, O.A. Payne. He is survived by daughter, Lora Powell, son, Mark Payne, son and daughter-in-law, Alan and Brandice Payne and mother, Lois Payne; six grandchildren, sisters and brother-in-law, Louise Nash, Sue and Carl Ellis and brother, Jerry Payne.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, April 6, 2012 at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, TX. Chaplain Rod Skelton will conduct the services. Military Honors will be provided by the U.S. Army Honor Guard from Ft. Polk, LA. Interment will following the chapel service as Bold Springs Cemetery in Livingston. Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 991 in Palestine, TX are
active pallbearers.
