Memorial services for Jimmy Boyd Simmons, 57, of Livingston, Texas will be held Monday, January 17, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Clint Ferguson officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the service begins at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.

Jimmy was born July 5, 1964 in Louisville, Kentucky to parents, Junior Simmons and Ellen (Travis) Simmons, and passed away January 9, 2022 in Livingston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Norman Simmons.

He is survived by his daughter, Krystal Wood and husband, Jeremiah; son, Jimmy Simmons and wife, Robin Birch; daughter, Brandy Woodard and husband, Jerry; grandchildren, Lailind Woodard, Tyler Uvalle, and Michael Uvalle; the mother of his children, Margaret Simmons; sister, Mary Simmons; brothers, James Junior Simmons, and John Simmons and wife, Melinda; sister, Norma Simmons; nieces, Mary Coleman, Norma Jean Simmons, Katelyn Simmons, and J.C. Adkinson; and nephews, Robert Simmons, Roman Simmons, Dustin Simmons, and Norman Simmons Jr.; along with numerous other nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
