Funeral services for Jimmy Melvin Yarbrough, 85, of Rye, Texas will be held Monday, April 28, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas. Interment will follow at Holly Grove Cemetery in Segno, Texas. Visitation will take place on the day of service, fro, 12:00-2:00 p.m., at the funeral home.

Jimmy was born September 8, 1939 in Houston, Texas and passed away April 22, 2025 in Livingston, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jimmy Yarbrough Jr.; and brother, F.L. Yarbrough.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Yarbrough of Rye, Texas; son, Larry Yarbrough and wife Lynda of Liberty, Texas; and daughters, Kathy Mitchell of Livingston, Texas and Kim Durdin of Rye, Texas; along with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
