Memorial services for J.M. Murphy, 69, of Leggett, Texas will be held Sunday, December 19, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. in the Coldspring Senior Citizen Center located at 60 Butler St. in Coldspring, Texas.

Mr. Murphy was born October 14, 1952 in Livingston, Texas to parents, Jesse Murphy and Louise (Hamilton) Murphy, and passed away December 4, 2021 in Livingston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Jesse "Tiger" Lee Murphy; and sister, Patricia Ann Cummings.

He is survived by his daughter, Amanda Stacy of Shepherd, Texas; son, Marvin Murphy and wife, Donna of Groveton, Texas; and grandsons, Jesse Murphy and Robert Floyd; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
