Funeral services for Joan McCaffety Cummins, 79, of Onalaska, Texas, will be held Friday, December 3, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Keith Barnes officiating.   Interment will follow at the Falba Cemetery in Huntsville, Texas.  Visitation will be held just prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel.

Joan was born October 21, 1942 in Dumas, Texas, to parents, John Jefferson McCaffety and Vera (Thomas) McCaffety and passed away November 24, 2021 in Houston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; 1st husband, Kennith Wayne Murphy; husband, Keith Cummins; and brothers, Kenneth and Alvin McCaffety.

She is survived by her daughters, Michelle Quinn of Mont Belvieu, Texas, Ronda McEntee and husband, Craig of Houston, Texas; grandsons, Chris McEntee of Baytown, Texas, Chase McEntee of Seabrook, Texas; granddaughter, Nicole Newton of Pace, Florida; grandsons Kirby Murphy of Houston, Texas and Jeffrey Harrod of Chicago, Illinois; great-grandsons, Ty McEntee and Clay McEntee, both of Baytown, Texas; great-granddaughter, Addison Newton of Pace, Florida; and great-grandson, Landon Newton, also of Pace, Florida; brother, James McCaffety and wife, Karen of Onalaska, Texas; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
