Funeral services for Joan Marie Farrar, 90, of Livingston, Texas will be held Saturday, April 6, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Harold Isaacs officiating. Interment will follow at Bold Springs Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held the day of service, from 2:00-4:00 p.m., at the church.

Joan was born February 19, 1934 in Houston, Texas and passed away March 29, 2024 in Livingston, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard John Redig and Margaret (Burke) Redig; husband, Chester Farrar; son, Leonard Farrar; daughter, Donna Farrar; great grandchildren, Stephen Daniels and Logan Welsh; brother, Donald L. Redig; and sister, Madelen Moore.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Janice Farrar of Livingston, Texas; grandchildren, Dennis and Shawna Kurth, Travis and Amy Hoover, G.W. and Ginger Farrar, Christy Tucker, Chris and Jessica Daniels, Craig and Jaimi Daniels, Carrie Daniels, Jerry and Heather Harris, and Stephen and Katheryn Murphy; 23 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and church family.

Pallbearers: Stephen Murphy, Jerry Harris, Craig Daniels, G.W. Farrar, Travis Hoover, and Dennis Kurth.
