Funeral services for Joan Ward Fleener, 92, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Saturday, March 7, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Melvin Cates officiating. Interment will follow in the Peebles Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 6, 2020 in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Mrs. Fleener was born October 17, 1927 in Muenster, Texas to parents, Simon Arthur Ward and Donie Missouri (Bridges) Ward, and passed away March 1, 2020 in Livingston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; and husband of 70 loving years, Leonard Fleener.

She is survived by her brother, Charles Ward and wife, Virginia of Edmond, Oklahoma; son, Stephen Fleener and wife, Carol of Livingston, Texas; daughter, Sandra Durham of Livingston, Texas; 5 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
