Memorial services for Joan Lois Gray, 78, of Shepherd, Texas, will be held Saturday, July 25, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas.

Joan was born April 12, 1942 in Coudersport, Pennsylvania, to parents, Thomas H. James and Cora Anna (Kenny) James, and passed away July 7, 2020 in Shepherd, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Stanley James; and sister, Janet Shields.

She is survived by her daughter, Cathy Haskins; son and daughter-in-law, Ted and Kellie James; daughters, Deniece Haskins and Diane Blair; grandchildren, Wenona Strother, John Haskins, Michael Haskins, Kelli Haskins, Charlotte Huey, Justina Huey, and Joanna Huey; great grandchildren, Lydia Haskins, Silas Steele, Josey Strother, Alexis Rosario, Abbi Adkins, Riley Fourd, Hollis Huey, and Dakotah Simpson; sisters, Kate Waterson, Joyce King, and Elizabeth Pape; brothers, Thomas James, Harry James, Joe James, and Richard James; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
