Joan Colista Gray-Culpepper, age 74 of Onalaska, Texas, was born on September 18, 1937 in Ulysses, Kansas, to parents, Stanley and Colista Gray. She passed away in Livingston, Texas, on October 12, 2012.
She is preceded in death by per parents, Stanley and Colista Gray, her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Claude and Mattie Riggs; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Tommy and Grace Culpepper; Joan is survived by her husband of 55 years, Jeff Culpepper of Onalaska; her daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Tommy Hall of Baytown; her son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Susan Culpepper of Stephenville; her brother and sister-in-law, Lynn and Susan Gray of Schulenburg; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Leon and Faye Cone of Dayton. She is also survived by her five grandchildren: Jenna Brockman of Austin, Timothy Brockman of Round Rock, Ashley, Merideth and Morgan Culpepper of Stephenville and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 16, 2012, at Livingston First Church of The Nazarene. Rev. Fred Huff and David Johnson will conduct the service.
