Memorial services for JoAnn DeVaney Nelson, 61, of Goodrich, Texas, will be held Sunday, February 5, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Bro. David Goddard officiating.
Mrs. Nelson was born December 21, 1955 in Moses Lake, Washington to parents, James DeVaney and Nila (Kimmel) DeVaney, and passed away January 30, 2017 in Goodrich, Texas. She is preceded in death by her father, Jim DeVaney; mother, Nila Zuelke; mother-in-law, Muriel Nelson; brother-in-law, Steve Nelson.
She is survived by her husband, Mark Nelson of Goodrich, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Josh and Katey Nelson of Goodrich, Texas; granddaughters, Addie Nelson, Nicole Nelson, Kortlyn Goodson, McKayden Nelson, and Swayzie Nelson all of Goodrich, Texas; brother, Ed DeVaney of Montana; Denny DeVaney of Montana; sister, Lila Byers of Montana; sister, Nita Ibara of Montana; brother, Steve DeVaney of Montana; brother and sister-in-law, Neil and Lori DeVaney of Washington; sister, Dina DeVaney of Oregon; father-in-law, Pete Nelson of Goodrich, Texas; sister-in-law, Priss Nelson of Dripping Springs, Texas; sister-in-law Debbie McGee of League City, Texas; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Scott and Dewanda Nelson of Kingwood, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts uncles and many other relatives and friends.
