Funeral services for Joanne Faye Massingill, 74, of Montgomery, Texas will be held Monday, April 25, 2022, at 2:00 p.m., in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas with Pastor Chris Knox officiating. Interment will follow in the Bluff Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the service begins at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Massingill was born January 9, 1948, in Quakerstown, Pennsylvania raised by parents, Jim and Agnes Jefferson, and passed away April 20, 2022 in Conroe, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; and husband of 47 years, Hershell Edward Massingill.

She is survived by her 3 children, sons, William Edward Massingill and Walter Lee Massingill both of Odessa, Texas, and daughter, Dawn Lynnett Walls and husband, David of Montgomery, Texas; grandchildren, Andrew Lee Walls and wife, Nicole, Brook Ann Walls, and Caitlyn Elaine Walls; and great-grandson, Ryan; along with numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
