Graveside services for Joe Bailey Barnett, 85, of Trinity, Texas, will be held Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carlisle Cemetery in Onalaska, Texas with Bro. Jerry Vincent officiating.

Joe Bailey Barnett was born December 9, 1934 in Staley, Texas to parents, Leon Barnett and Ezra Fidellis (Sheppard) Barnett, and passed away July 3, 2020 in Huntsville, Texas. He attended Groveton High School and Lamar.  Mr. Barnett proudly served his country in the United States Army.  He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Rose (Rockaford) Barnett; sisters, Ruth Morgan and Lieuvenia Berry; brother, James "Buddy" Barnett.

Mr. Barnett is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Clayton Barnett and Pearl of Highlands, Texas; sisters and brothers-in-law, Beulah Newport and Scott, Shirley Headley and Sherrard, all from Carlisle, Texas; sister-in-law, Carolyn Barnett of Baytown, Texas;  along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
