Funeral services for Joe "Jokey" Frank Stephens will be held Thursday, November 6, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas. Interment will follow at Farley Chapel Cemetery in Shepherd, Texas. Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 5, 2025, from 6:00-8:00 p.m., at the funeral home.

Joe was born June 17, 1939, in Dodge, Texas and passed away November 3, 2025, in Porter, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie Leon Stephens and Willie Ethel Parrott Stephens; wife, Virginia Stephens; son, Jerry Leon Stephens; daughter, Virginia Gail Minor; sisters, Billie Cantrell and Sharon Whitton; and niece, Donna "Ink" Cantrell.

He is survived by his daughter, Tammy Jo Atkinson and husband Anthony of Laneville, Texas; grandchildren, Jerry Green and Amberly, Leigh Ann Winkler and Kelly, Kaylee Atkinson, Jennifer Stephens, Justin Smith, Christopher Mathison, and Mark "Rocky" Mathison; great grandchildren, Jayden Drake and Kylea Mathison; and nieces, Penny Freuck, Pebbles Aucoin, Kathy Cleveland, and Brenda Vaughn; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers: Jerry Green, Jayden Drake, Lynn Oswalt, Ray Campbell, Chris Winslett, and Sammy Herrod.
