Joe Jones, 55, died Thursday, January 31, 2008 at East Texas Medical Center in Tyler, Texas.
He is survived by Erin & Jay Wheeler, daughter & son in law of Lavon, Texas, Matthew Jones, son of Mesquite,Texas, Timothy Jones, son of Plano, Texas, Doris Jones, mother of Segno, Texas, Jackson Wheeler, grandson, of Lavon, Texas, Joshua Wheeler, grandson, of Lavon, Texas, Kennedy Wheeler, granddaughter of Lavon, Texas, Marsha & Bill Mayhew, sister & brother in law of Segno, Texas and Jane Jones, mother of his children.
He was preceded in death by his father Charles Jones, and his brother Thomas Jones.
He was born August 8, 1952, in Baytown, Texas the son of Charles & Doris Gay Jones.
Pallbearers will be Austin Jones, Troy Jones, Brett Jones, Billy Mayhew, Jr., Tex Proctor, Ricky Jones, Matthew Jones, Timothy Jones, and David Eaglin. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jimmy Burkhard, Cecil Long, Ronnie Bailey, Thomas Bailey, Jerry Glenn Maze, TH Bailey, Rastus Maze, harvey Jones, Johnny Wheeler, Larry Sizemore, Charles Norman Duff, Billy Mayhew, Sr., JL Mays, and Nick Mercadante.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday February, 3, 2008 at 1:30pm at the Holly Grove Baptist Church. Rev. Billy Brackin and Rev. Frank Hood officiating. Interment will follow in the Holly Grove Cemetery in Livingston, Texas.
