Funeral services for Joe Edward McGinnis, 75, of Livingston, Texas will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 31, 2020 in the Beech Creek Assembly of God Church in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Don Goodwin officiating. Military honors will be provided by VFW Post #8568. Interment will follow in the Midway Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 30, 2020 in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Mr. McGinnis was born November 7, 1944 in Houston, Texas to parents, William Earl McGinnis Sr. and Ressie Mae (Baldridge) McGinnis, and passed away October 20, 2020 in Conroe, Texas. During his life, Mr. McGinnis proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Pat McGinnis.

He is survived by his wife, Suzanne McGinnis of Livingston; daughters, Cheryl McGinnis, Pamela McGinnis, and Theresa Hawkins all of Livingston, and Katherine Burton of Channelview; 8 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; brother, William Earl McGinnis Jr.; and sisters, Earline Hill, Deloris Minguela, and Navelle Homnick; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
