Funeral services for Joe Charles Roeder age 75 of Livingston, Texas will be held Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at 10:00 AM in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas. Interment to follow in the Earthman' Memorial Garden cemetery in Houston. Visitation is Monday from 5:00 PM- 9:00 PM. Pallbearers are Tony Adams, James Adams, Jr., Joe Stavinoha, Jef Roeder, and Charles Ridge. Honorary Pallbearers are Lacey Adams, Jennifer Roeder, and great grandchildren.

He was born August 7, 1935 in Schulenburg, Texas the son of Oswald Roeder and Leona Baca Roeder and passed away April 9, 2011 in Baytown, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Oswald and Leona Roeder. He was a member of the Board of Directors for Lake Livingston water and sewage.

Joe is survived by his wife, Rita Mae Roeder of Livingston, Texas, daughter, Theresa Krutz of Weimar, Texas, son and fiance, Joseph Roeder, Jr. and Linda Jones of Old River, Texas, son, Michael Roeder of Schulenburg, Texas, 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, sisters, Virginia Helwe of Stiner, Texas, Dorothy Ulrich of Alexandria, Louisiana, Mary Ann Wotipika of Schulenburg, brothers, Melvin and Allen Roeder, both of Schulenburg, Texas. Numerous other relatives and friends also survive.
