Obituary
Funeral services for Joe Sanders, 74, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Friday, February 3, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Kevin Hendrix and Rex Hendrix officiating. Interment will follow in the Big Sandy Cemetery in Big Sandy, Texas. Visitation will be held Thursday, February 2, 2017 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.
Mr. Sanders was born February 26, 1942 in Livingston, Texas to parents, Cecil Charlie Sanders and Kathleen Katie (Hendrix) Sanders, and passed away January 30, 2017 in Livingston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Joan Sanders.
He is survived by his wife, Kay Sanders of Big Sandy, Texas; daughter, Katey Rohde and husband, Steele of Pasadena, Texas; son, Joe Sanders Jr. of Groesbeck, Texas; son, Kevin Murrell and fiancé, Sue of Livingston, Texas; son, Jeffrey Sanders and wife, Amanda of Porter, Texas; sister, Geraldine Vandezande of Ft. Worth, Texas; grandchildren, "J. C." Sanders, TaLora Sanders, Brice Rohde, Chance Sanders, Mackenzie Sparks, Kaeli Garza, Seth Lee, and Jennifer Lundgren; and nine great grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers: Nathan Hendrix, Sean Walker, Adolph Garza, Chuck Spears, Jerry Waldrip, Bradley Hendrix.
Honorary Pallbearers: Fred Albers, Jesse Gonzales, Joe John, Melvin Collins, Rex Hendrix.
