Funeral services for Joey Eugene McNiel, 57, of Onalaska, Texas, will be held Monday, May 11, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the United Pentecostal Church of Onalaska, Texas with Pastor Mike Bryan officiating. Interment will follow in the Peebles Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Sunday, May 10, 2015 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. in Cochran Funeral Home in Onalaska, Texas.

Mr. McNiel was born August 21, 1957 in Houma, Louisiana to parents, Charles C. McNiel and Edith (Fontenot) Schlottman, and passed away May 4, 2015 in Onalaska, Texas. He is preceded in death by his father and ex-wife, Tambra West.

He is survived by his daughters, Tiffany McNiel and Brittany Dunaway both of Onalaska, Texas; sons-in-law, Ryan Moscicki and Michael Newman III both of Onalaska, Texas; grandchildren, Katelyn Crowton, Aviona Crowton, Collin Moskicki all of Onalaska, Texas, Brandon Dunaway of Houston, Texas, Kailei Dunaway, Kara Dunaway, Emma Dunaway all of Onalaska, Texas; daughter, Amanda Garden Hutson of Corrigan, Texas; mother, Edith Schlottman of Onalaska, Texas; sister, Lisa White and Jerry of Onalaska, Texas; brother, Jake McNiel and Lowanna, brother, Kenneth McNiel of Livingston, Texas; brother, Charles McNiel Sr. of Onalaska, Texas; sister, Bonnie Johnson and Jim of Broddaus, Texas; daughter, Mandy Sherrard of Onalaska, Texas; and numerous other relatives and friends.
