John Newton Allen, 77, of Livingston, Texas was born August 29, 1946 in Harris County, Texas and passed away July 20, 2024 in Livingston, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Newton Allen and Ethlyn (Neidenhoffer) Allen; brother, Eugene Allen; and sister, Freda Lashawnie.

John is survived by his sons, Duane Owens and wife Jodi of Huntington, Texas and John Eugene Allen; daughter, Crystal Cassell and husband Joe of Bullard, Texas; brother, Earl Wayne Allen of Danbury, Texas; 15 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

Graveside services for John will be held Thursday, August 8, 2024, at 1:30 p.m., at Houston National Cemetery in Houston, Texas.
