It is very important to the family that his many many friends who can will be in attendance.
The following considerations and instructions will make your arrival an easier transition:
1. The parking in the cemetery is very small. Cemetery parking will be basically limited to the family.
2. The county rock road from FM942 into the cemetery is narrow and with the wet soft shoulders, access and parking will not be possible.
3. With the cooperation of the Polk County Sheriff's Department, secured parking will be provided in the East bound lane of FM 942 on each side of the cemetery entrance. West bound lane must remain open.
4. There will also be an area for limited parking at Darden Road.
5. Carpooling is advised.
6. Thanks to over a dozen of friends, golf carts, RTV's and a bus/van will provide transport along FM 942 to the cemetery. At the conclusion of the memorial service these same volunteers will provide return transport.
7. Everyone should arrive 15-20 minutes before 10:00 a.m. in order to get into the cemetery by 10:00 a.m.
8. The weather will be very cold. Please bring necessary clothing.
9. There are no restrooms in the cemetery.
