Memorial services for John Wesley Counts Jr., 78, of Coldspring, Texas, will be held Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. in the First United Methodist Church in Coldspring, Texas with Pastor Dan Darby officiating.
Mr. Counts was born February 28, 1939 in Huntsville, Texas to parents, John Wesley Counts Sr. and Mable (Harrell) Counts, and passed away July 17, 2017 in Livingston, Texas. During his life, he proudly served his country in the United States Army. He is preceded in death by his parents; and son, John Wesley Counts III.
He is survived by his wife, Nella Counts of Coldspring, Texas; son, Robert Counts of Dallas, Texas; daughter, Brenda Counts of Dallas, Texas; step-daughter, Stacie Martinez of Nederland, Texas; step-son, Jerry Roger of Nashville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Sarah, Brandi, Levi, Makayla, and McKenzie; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
