Funeral services for John (Jack) Edward Mulcare, 92, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Livingston, Texas with Father Tarsisius Puling, SVD officiating. Interment will be at a later date in the Houston National Cemetery in Houston, Texas. Visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 28, 2017 in the Cochran Funeral Home, with a rosary at 7:00 p.m.
John (Jack) Edward Mulcare passed away peacefully August 27, 2017 in Livingston, TX. He was born October 8, 1924 in Shreveport, LA to parents, Lavern Jerome Mulcare and Eunice Rachel Dickey Mulcare.
John served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He retired in 1985 after 37 years in the Drafting Dept at Shell Oil Co. in Deer Park and moved to Lake Livingston in 1993.
He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Ruth Mulcare Robertson.
He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Myra Loomis Mulcare and three children, Patricia Young and husband David, Michael Mulcare and wife Pamela, and Mary Howard. Also five grandchildren, Timothy Young, Brian Young, Natalie Myers, Jason Mulcare and Janell Lon and seven great-grandchildren.
