Obituary
John Hammack Sr., 93 of Livingston passed away Wednesday May 14, 2008. Funeral services will be Friday May 16, 2008 at 10:00AM in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Harold Isaacs officiating. Burial will follow at 2:00PM in the Rosewood Cemetery in Humble. Visitation will be Thursday May 15, 2008 at Cochran Funeral Home from 5:00pm until 10:00pm.
Mr. Hammack was born July 2, 1914 in Houston, Tx., to parents John E. and Lily Mae Decker Hammack. He proudly served our county during WWII in the Army from 1942 until 1945. He was a life time member of the VFW Post #8568 and the American Legion #629.
Mr. Hammock is survived by his wife Mae Hammack, son John E. Hammack Jr., daughters Janet Yarbough, Marsha Ryan, and his grandchildren Patrick McCleney, John E. Hammack III, Danielle McCleney, Cindy McCleney, Tracy Gillespie, Charlie Gillespie, Shane Canada, Roxanne Wedin, Tony Anguiano, Rosa Anguiano, Juan Anguiano.
Serving as pallbearers will be Shane Canada, Tony Anguiano, Juan Anguiano, Oscar Dubose, Daniel Rameriez, John E. Hammack Jr.
