Funeral services for John Edward Johnson, 90, of Livingston, Texas will be held Friday, November 28, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Mike Loftin officiating. Interment will follow at 3:00 p.m., at the Copeland Chapel Cemetery in Conroe, Texas. Visitation will be held on the day of service, from 10:00-11:00 a.m., at the funeral home.

John was born in Conroe, Texas and passed away  in Livingston, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward N. Johnson and Anna Magee Johnson; daughter, Susan Hallonquist; son, Brad Johnson; sisters, Juanelle Kelley and Joyce Kelley; and brothers, Paul "Bugs" Johnson and Jimmy Johnson.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Edith Johnson; daughter, Jana Johnson; stepdaughters, Debra Johnson and husband Jim, and Pamela Tackett; and sister Joanna Castleberry; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
