Services for John Benton Key, Sr., 74, of Cleveland, Texas will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Caney Creek Cowboy Church in Conroe, Texas with Pastor Mark Grimes officiating. Interment will follow at Peebles Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 26, 2023 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Caney Creek Cowboy Church.

John was born November 13, 1948 in Houston, Texas and passed away October 20, 2023 in Houston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jeff Elmer Key and Margie Mae (Harrison) Key; and 3 brothers.

He is survived by his wife, Amanda Key; son, John Key, Jr. and wife Charlotte; daughters, Margie Key and Caitlin Key; son, Jarrett Key; daughters Kelsi Whiteker and Maysi Whiteker; and grandchildren, Kyle, Riley and Finley; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
