Obituary
Funeral services for John Henry Manning, Jr., age 79, of Livingston, will be held Thursday, May 14, 2009 at 10:00am at the Blanchard Baptist Church in Livingston, where he served as Deacon, with Bro. Fred Alford and Bro. Royce Pennington officiating interment to follow in the Mt. Capers Cemetery in Oakhurst, Texas.
He was born March 31, 1930 in Crockett, Texas the son of John H. Manning, Sr., and Annie Alderman Manning and passed away Monday May 11, 2009 in Livingston, Texas.
He is survived by his wife Mary Manning of Livingston, John H. ""Sonny"" Manning III and wife Doris, son & daughter in law of Lancaster, Texas, Sheila Bailey, daughter of Magnolia, Texas, grandchildren, Robert Bailey, Jr., Johnny Lee Manning, Shane Manning, Ashley Burchfield, and Kristi Michael, great grandchildren, Emily Bailey, and Jonathon Bailey, Sue & Charles Cain, sister & brother in law, of Magnolia, Texas, Charlie & Jean Manning, brother & sister in law, of Elkhart, Texas, David & Fleta Manning, brother & sister in law of Onalaska, Billy Ray Manning and Mary Wells, brother and companion of Houston, and Lowell Cox, very special & dear friend, of Livingston, many nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
