Funeral services for John Ronald Matheidas Jr., 75, of Goodrich, Texas, will be held Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Brad Matheidas officiating. Interment will follow in the Restland Memorial Park Cemetery in Livingston, Texas.

Mr. Matheidas was born August 14, 1940 in Ocean Springs, Mississippi to parents, John Ronald Matheidas and Kathryn (Carver) Matheidas, and passed away June 8, 2016 in Livingston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his second wife of 35 years, and his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Geraldine Matheidas of Livingston, Texas; sons, Carver Matheidas and Bridget of Frisco, Texas, Brad Matheidas and Martie of Keller, Texas, Michael Matheidas and Laura of The Woodlands, Texas, Trey Matheidas and Vanessa of Dallas, Texas; daughter, Mondalin Davis and Tom of Sugarland, Texas; sister, Pam Robertson and Johnny of Carrollton, Texas; brother, Russell Matheidas and Mary of Duncanville, Texas; 2 grandsons; 2 granddaughters; 1 great granddaughter; and 1 great-great granddaughter; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
