Obituary
Graveside services for John Henry Parmer, 81, of Point Blank, Texas, will be held Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Magnolia Cemetery in Onalaska, Texas with Rev. Toni Atkinson officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday, April 2, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Onalaska, Texas.
Mr. Parmer was born June 16, 1934 in Wood County, Texas to parents, William Frelon Parmer and Cornelia (Wright) Parmer, and passed away March 27, 2016 in Livingston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Dorothy Parmer; wife, Mary Frances Parmer; brothers, J.D. Parmer, Dale Parmer, Foy Parmer, and Arvol Wright.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Jeannie Parmer of Livingston, Texas; grandchildren, Jessica Parmer and Karen Suzy Parmer McGuire; 6 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Ruth Cross of Melissa, Texas; and Ruby Montgomery and Bill of Trenton, Texas; step-sons, Michael Arden of Frisco, Texas, Tim Arden of Keller, Texas, and Bill Arden of Houston, Texas; step-daughter, Laura Durant of Houston, Texas; sister-in-law, Joyce Parmer; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
