Funeral services for John Lester Patrick Vickery, 74, of Livingston, Texas will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 16, 2020 in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Charlie Dean officiating. Military honors will be provided by VFW Post #8568. Interment will follow in the Peebles Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the service begins at 10:00 a.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home.

Mr. Vickery was born March 17, 1946 in Cambridge, England to parents, Hester Vickery and Lillian (Lowing) Vickery, and passed away October 13, 2020 in Kingwood, Texas. During his life, Mr. Vickery proudly served his country in the United States Army.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Dwayne and Tiffani Vickery of Livingston; son and daughter-in-law, Brandy and Zuly Vickery of Livingston; grandchildren, Hailee Vickery, Caden Vickery, Brayden Vickery, Jayden Vickery, Lane Parrish, Kenzi Parrish, Maci Parrish, Camil Andrade and Mateo Andrade; sister, Dianne Hopkins and husband, Bill of Shepherd; and the mother of his boys, Diane Vickery; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
