Funeral services for Robert John ""Bob"" Prater, age 61, of Lovelady, Texas will be Saturday April 18, 2009 at 4:00pm in the chapel of Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas with Rev. James Frazier officiating and interment to follow in Peebles Cemetery in Livingston.
He was born November 20, 1947 in Lufkin, Texas the son of Thomas F. & May Alice Bodine Prater and passed away on April 14, 2009 in Lovelady.
Bob graduated from Livingston High School and them from Texas A&M with a Bachlor of Science Degree and was employed as a correctional office for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.
He is survived by his son, John Prater of San Marcos, Texas, his mother, May Alice Prater of Livingston and numerous relatives and friends.
Cochran Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
