John is survived by his wife, Betty Rozell of Timpson, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy Rozell and Jane of Longview, Texas; daughters and sons-in-law, Ann Wadle and Haskel of Turnertown, Texas, Margie Kiker and Alan of Arkansas; sister and brother-in-law, Lou Bundrich and David of Duncanville, Texas; sisters-in-law Ruth Rozell of Livingston, Texas, Barbara McCasland of Wichita Falls, Texas; step-children, Robert and Donna Jones of Burkburnett, Texas, Gerald and Diane Jones of Temple, Texas, Sherry and Jeffery Hughes of Timpson, Texas; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family and friends.
John was a mechanic by trade and worked at several shops in the Kilgore area as well as his own. The thing he was most proud of was his military service with 30 plus years in 3 branches of service to his credit. When he retired, he and Betty moved from Kilgore to Onalaska to care for her mother until her passing. There John worked for the Onalaska I.S.D., then Wal-Mart where he always had a friendly handshake or a hug ready. He was loved and respected by all and will thoroughly be missed.
