Obituary
John Howard Saxon, Jr., died Tuesday, January 22, 2008, at St. Lukes Hospital in Houston, Texas.
He is survived by OWeena Saxon, wife of Livingston, John Mitchell Saxon & Gayle, son & daughter in law of Corrigan, Stephen Saxon, son of Deer Park, Michelle & Doug Tompkins, daughter & son in law, of Livingston, Bonnie & Charlie Fuller, sister & brother in law of Livingston, Jamie Quinn & Daniel, granddaughter & husband of Nacogdoches, Jennifer Saxon, granddaughter of Lufkin, Julie Saxon, granddaughter of Longview, Lindsay Tompins, granddaughter of Livingston, Dylan Tompkins, grandson of Livingston, Madison Mahr, great granddaughter of Lufkin, and Cameryn Quinn, great granddaughter of Nacogdoches.
He was preceded in death by his father John Saxon, Sr., and his Mother Minnie Aydelotte Saxon.
He was born April 27, 1928 in Corrigan, Texas.
Pallbearers will be Julio Perez, Seth Handley, Daniel Quinn, Harlon Parrish, Charlie Fuller & Roy Beauchamp. Honorary Pallbearers will be Buddy Purvis, Hal Hubbard, Alton Burris & Carly Smith.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 25, 2008 at 2:00pm at the Union Springs Missionary Baptist Church in Corrigan, Texas, with Rev. James Brock & Rev. Curtis Jordan officiating. Interment will follow in the Union Springs Cemetery in Corrigan, Texas.
