Funeral services for John Kirby Selman Jr., 42, of Livingston, Texas will be held Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Robert Murphy officiating. Interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Onalaska, Texas. Visitation will be held Monday, September 8, 2025, from 5:00-7:00 p.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas.

John was born October 18, 1982 in Humble, Texas and passed away September 4, 2025 in Livingston, Texas. He was preceded in death by his brother, Cody Ryan Selman; grandparents, Leroy and Jane Alvin Myrow; grandmother, Eloise Harlan Selman; grandfather, Brooks Bryant Jr.; and grandfather, William Weathersby Selman.

He is survived by the love of his life, Amanda Selman; sons, Konner Selman and Kasin Selman; parents, Sarah Chance and husband JR, and John Kirby Selman Sr and Liz; bonus parent, Renee Marshall; sisters, Amanda Reynolds and husband Bubba, Kayla Williford, and Ellie Kathleen Selman; grandmother, Peggy Bryant; nieces, Hannah Wilson, Kayleigh Wilson, Ava Delacruz, Karli Nemeyer, Addison Williford and Sophie Williford; and great nephew,  Levi Flower; along with numerous aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers: Wayne Mahaffey, Dusty Jenkins, Dwight Fender, Daniel Denham, Lonnie Steel, and Kasin Selman.
